Federico Scialabba, Music Brokers and Matías Gueilburt: Figures in Independent Cultural Production

Federico Scialabba is the President and Co-founder of Music Brokers, an independent record label based in Buenos Aires. Established in 1997, the company has developed an editorial model focused on curated phonographic content, with a particular emphasis on catalog repertoire, thematic compilations, and productions designed for long-term circulation. Music Brokers operates in both Latin America and Europe, combining physical and digital publishing, international distribution, and synchronization rights management.
Over more than two decades, the label has built a distinct identity grounded in editorial autonomy, niche audience targeting, and technical integration with global platforms. Its catalog includes series such as Bossa n’, Jazz and ’70s, chillout, ambient, and other genre-based collections aimed at specific listening contexts.
